Marketers, corporates, media owners, professionals, brand strategists, and marketing leads converged at this landmark event, which served as a platform to unravel the latest advancements in digital advertising technology and strategies.
Distinguished speakers took the stage to delve into various topics ranging from Artificial Intelligence and chatGPT to programmatic buying and data science. Additionally, discussions extended to the evolution of mobile technology, tracing its journey from 2G, 3G, and 4G to the present 5G landscape, emphasizing the profound impact of these technologies on both the advertising industry and daily life.
Anthony Shiner, Group Chief Commercial Officer at Airtel Africa, emphasized the pivotal role of Airtel’s first-party data in enhancing the platform’s capabilities. Shiner highlighted Airtel’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions, stating, “Advertising is evolving, and shifts in data policies are presenting new challenges. Airtel Ads, leveraging Telco and Wallet data, aims to target both digitally engaged individuals and those traditionally excluded from the digital realm in Africa. This inclusive platform caters to various media agencies and businesses, providing focused audience targeting utilizing Airtel’s extensive customer database and spending behaviors, coupled with the advanced Intent.ai platform.
Alexandr Yesayan, Co-Founder of Intent.ai, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the necessity for a platform that delivers greater value and reaches previously unreachable audiences.
