The Global Opportunities Committee (GOC) of the Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) has appointed Samuel O. Adeyemi as the Communication Lead, a pivotal role aimed at advancing the Chamber’s global outreach efforts.
In his new role, Adeyemi will spearhead the global communication efforts of the Committee, focusing on achieving the ambitious 10-year objective of reaching $100 billion in global transactions for Black businesses. He will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies, managing media relations, handling crisis communication, and overseeing brand management to enhance the GOC’s reputation and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and the public.
The GOC, dedicated to equipping members with vital information and facilitating access to lucrative trade, partnership, and investment prospects worldwide, has already made significant strides. Over the past year, it has extended its reach to over 1,000 businesses spanning 35 countries, facilitating opportunities valued at more than $100 million.
In addition to his role as Communication Lead for the GOC, Samuel will also serve as the Regional Lead for Nigeria, furthering the ABC’s mission to foster economic development, trade, and partnerships in the region.
