Cannes Lions has announced the lineup for its highly anticipated 2024 See It Be It talent acceleration programme, which focuses on empowering women in the creative industry. Nineteen exceptional creatives from 14 different markets have been chosen to participate in this year’s programme, slated to take place during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity from 17-21 June 2024.

The See It Be It programme offers a unique four-day experience that includes mentorship opportunities, private masterclasses with industry leaders, and tailored sessions designed to align with each participant’s career goals. The initiative, now in its 10th year, aims to address gender inequality in creative leadership roles across the global industry.

This year’s cohort marks a significant milestone as it includes participants from new markets, such as Kazakhstan, Kenya, and Thailand, reflecting the programme’s expanding reach and impact.

Daniela Varela, Creative Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day and last year’s Alumni Tutor will guide the 2024 participants along with programme Ambassador Madonna Badger, Founder/CEO/COO of BADGER AGENCY. Varela expressed excitement about joining the journey of this year’s cohort and emphasized the collective talent, inspiration, and leadership that the participants bring to the programme.

Madonna Badger, See It Be It Chairperson and Ambassador, commended the courage, optimism, and purpose of the 2024 cohort, highlighting their commitment to reshaping the future of the industry and driving positive change. She expressed pride in connecting with such a vibrant network of talent and emphasized the importance of empowering women to flourish in the creative field.

Frank-Starling, Chief DEI Officer at LIONS, underscored the programme’s mission to challenge gender imbalances in the creative sector and empower women and non-binary creatives to excel in their careers. He congratulated the selected participants and looked forward to welcoming them at the Festival in June.

The 2024 See It Be It programme continues to be a beacon of diversity and inclusion, fostering talent and driving impactful change within the creative industry.
