Insight Publicis appoints Dolapo Ogunbambo as Chief Operating Officer

Insight Publicis, a leading creative agency in Africa, has officially named Dolapo Ogunbambo as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Dolapo, renowned for his expertise in marketing communications and innovation consultancy, will bring his extensive experience to bear in spearheading the commercial and technical functions of the agency.

In his elevated role as COO, Dolapo Ogunbambo will provide crucial direction and leadership, leveraging his skills in general management, organizational leadership, and client relations. His wealth of experience positions him as a key player in driving the agency’s strategic objectives.

Before assuming the position of COO, Dolapo served as the Acting Chief Operating Officer and Business Director at Insight Publicis. His professional journey includes a significant tenure at Starcom Media Perspectives, where he held the position of Business Director, Strategy and Innovation. During this period, he played a pivotal role in steering business development for an advertising enterprise with an impressive N11 billion valuation. Dolapo led successful bid processes for advertising accounts with renowned brands such as Kraft Heinz Nigeria, VISA WA, Mondelez Nigeria, FCB Escola Lagos, Duracell Nigeria, and World Bank Lighting Africa.

His contributions to Insight Publicis have been substantial, having held various roles within the agency, including Associate Director, Strategy & Innovation, Media Group Head, and Senior Manager, Media Strategy & Planning. Dolapo’s diverse skill set encompasses Business Strategy, Coaching and Mentoring, Organizational Leadership, Resource Management, and Cross-Functional Team Leadership.

Educationally, Dolapo Ogunbambo holds a Master’s Degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan. He has further honed his skills through a certification in Senior Management from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
