NOC congratulates Tobi Amusan on Diamond League victory

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has congratulated Nigerian sprint queen Tobi Amusan for her incredible victory at the Diamond League.
Amusan took the first position at the Oregon Diamond League on Sunday night.
The 100m women’s hurdles record holder previously won the title in 2021 and 2022.
Amusan won the race with a season’s best time of 12.33s.
Reacting, the President of the NOC, Habu Ahmed Gumel, also thanked Amusan for staying focused on her goal.
Gumel, in a congratulatory message released by Tony Nezianya, Public Relations Officer, NOC, said: ”Your triumph in the face of adversity, in particular, is inspiring.
“Many thanks for staying focused on your goal, and ultimately emerging as the undeniable champion. Your dedication, persistence and relentless hard work are truly inspiring.
“Your achievement will undoubtedly inspire countless young athletes to follow in your footsteps and pursue their dreams with determination and passion.
”You’ve propelled Nigeria to greater heights, and your victory is a moment of national pride that we’ll always cherish.”
