Serie A: Nigerian defender, Kayode to sign improved contract at Fiorentina

Nigerian born defender, Michael Kayode is close to agreeing a contract applicable to senior players with Serie A side Fiorentina.
Recall that the teenager was drafted to Fiorentina’s first team following the injury to regular first-team player Dodo.
The right-back has made five appearances in Serie A as well as another two in the UEFA Europa Conference League, providing one assist across both competitions.
The 19-year -old is being eyed by many European clubsides including Arsenal FC.
The teenager is very close to agreeing a senior contract with Fiorentina.
Kayode currently earns an estimated €30,000 per season, which is set to be increased significantly to a figure closer to €1 million per year.
It is believed that La Viola are prepared to hand the highly-rated teenager a five-year deal.
