U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary hails Nigerian music industry

The United States of America’s Deputy Secretary of Treasury, Mr. Wally Adeyemo, has commended the Nigerian music industry and expressed his love for Nigerian Afrobeats.
Adeyemo who stated this on Tuesday via his X (former Twitter) account, noted that “Afrobeats are a must for any of my playlists.”
He explained that Nigeria’s creative industry, powered by people like Idris Olorunnimbe and Bisola Ayeola, is seen and heard around the world adding that it is “a bright spot for investment.”
Freelanews reports that the Nigerian-born U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary, is in Nigeria to enhance economic relations. His agenda includes meetings with government officials, business leaders and representatives from diverse sectors.
